Creating a configuration parameter

You must add at least one configuration parameter. Use these steps to add a configuration parameter to the environment data area. This is a one-time setup for configuring workspaces.

  1. Sign in as Administration Console.
  2. Select Other > Application & System Links.
  3. On the Framework Administration pane, in the Framework Administration (gen) section, select Administration Console.
  4. In the new tab, select Configuration Parameters.
  5. Click Create, and specify this information:
    Component
    Specify webservs.
    Key
    Specify UseDataAreaContext.
    Type
    Select Boolean.
    Residence
    Specify EnvOrBaseEnvDataArea.
    Value
    Specify true for the default value.
  6. Click Save.
