Contract output before award

This allows users to create output before they award an event to support negotiation and authorization before Final Award. The Tentatively Award All and Tentatively Award Line To Contract actions are available if the Create Output Before Final Award check box is selected on the Sourcing Event.

Creating contracts with tentative awards

Use this procedure to tentatively award all and create contract upon submitting the action form.
  1. Select Sourcing > Events > Open.
  2. Click the Analyze link in the Bid Responses column.
    The Sourcing Event Analysis page is displayed.
  3. On the Responses By Supplier tab, select Tentatively Award All.

Creating contracts with tentative award lines

Use this procedure to tentatively award line and create contract upon submitting the action form.

  1. Select Sourcing > Events > Open.
  2. Click the Analyze link in the Bid Responses column.
    The Sourcing Event Analysis page is displayed.
  3. On the Response By Line tab, select Tentatively Award Line To Contract.
