Setting default global access

Use this procedure to assign default access rights for all actors who have been assigned the Inventory Intelligence Specialist role.

Select Application Administration > Inventory > Miscellaneous.
In the Inventory Intelligence panel, click Configuration.
Open a configuration record.
On the Default Global Access field, select one of these settings:
- None: Actors do not have access to any items. You must specify access rights for specific actors to allow them to view or edit items.
- View: Actors can view all items but cannot edit any items. You must specify access rights for specific actors to allow them to edit items. You must also restrict access rights for specific actors if you do not want them to view certain items.
- Edit: Actors can edit all items. You must restrict access rights for specific actors if you do not want them to view or edit certain items.
