Purging history for order entry

Before you proceed, ensure that the Purge Cut Off Date in the finance enterprise group is specified. Ensure that the archive feature is enabled.

  1. Select Application Administration > Supply Management > Order Entry > Utilities.
  2. On the Purge and Archival panel, select a menu item to indicate the type of records to purge and archive:
    • History Purge for customer orders in a Ready To Purge status.
    • Returns Purge for customer order returns that are closed.
  3. Select a Company.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. To access purged records, see View and restore the archived data.
  6. Select Customer Orders to access the purged records.

    The archiving feature is not available for the business classes that are purged by the Order Entry Returns Purge action because data volume for those business classes is low.
