Configuring Kanban Item Bins

  1. Select Application Administration > Supply Management > Mobile Supply Chain.
  2. On the Mobile Par and Cycle Counting, click Kanban Item Bins.
  3. Select a Par Item.
  4. Specify this information:
    Use Kanban
    Select Yes from the drop down. The default is No.
    With Expiry
    Select Yes from the drop down. The default is No.
    Number of Bins
    Specify the number of bins. The default is two.

    Optionally, you can open a Par Item and modify the same fields.

    Note: The Par Level can also be set.
  5. Click Save.
    Note: The Par Level should be equally divisible in whole number by the Number of Bins. When saved, Kanban Item Bins are created automatically by the number of bins.
