Viewing the budget group cube data

Cube Data provides visibility into the budgets and obligations associated with a budget group. Each budget group tracks these values:

  • Local Obligation which are obligations that are tracked internally.
  • Cube Obligation which are the total obligations recorded in the BI cube.
  • Local Budget which is the budget that is tracked internally. This value is available only after a change request has been processed.
  • Cube Budget which is the total budget recorded in the BI cube.

The Cube Status reflects the real-time status of the GeneralLedgerTotal Analytic Cube. If the cube is inactive, the Cube Budget and Cube Obligation values are displayed as zero.

  1. Select Global Ledger > Budgeting > Scenarios.
  2. Open a budget scenario and click the Edit Templates tab.
  3. Open a template and click the Groups tab.
  4. Open a budget group.
  5. Click the Cube Data link.
  6. Select Export to CSV to export the data.
