Creating action reasons in Cash

Use this procedure to create new action reasons or to deactivate the current ones.

  1. Select Application Administration > Cash > Setup.
  2. On the General panel, click Action Reasons.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Subject
    Select the business class for which the action reason is applicable. These are the valid values:
    • RejectBankStatementDistribution
    • RejectVoidOrStopPaymentRequest
    • RejectCashLedgerPayment
    • RejectCashLedgerTransactionApproval
    • RejectCashLedgerReceipt
    • RejectCashLedgerEFTExtract
    • RejectCashLedgerBatchApproval
    • RejectCashForecast
    • ReactivateCashForecast
    • RejectWireTransfer
    Effective Date
    Specify the date that the action reason becomes effective.
    Action Reason
    Specify an action reason code.
    Description
    Provide a description.
    Status
    The setting is set to Active. To deactivate an action reason, select Inactive.
  5. Click Save.
