Generating contract redline documents

  1. Select Contracts > Contracts.
  2. Open or create a contract record.
  3. Click Create Contract Redline Document and upload a contract document. Optionally, click Create Contract Document to use the assigned template in FSM for the layout.

You can only run Create Contract Redline Document if the contract is in a Draft status. After the initial redline document is generated, the Update Redline Document action is available.

If you run Create Contract Document, the system generates the initial redline document using the assigned FSM template. This table shows check marks for the contract statuses in which the Create Contract Document action is available.
