Settling credit memo with invoice

Use this procedure to settle credit documents with invoices. This allows you to apply credits to invoices through the settlement process and extends Auto Apply functionality to work through settlements instead of through Automatic Memo Application.

  1. Select Intercompany Billing > Documents > Released.
  2. Select a released document, then click Settle Credit Memo With Invoice.
  3. Specify this information:
    Invoice Document Number
    Specify the invoice document to be settled with this credit memo.
    Amount
    Specify the amount to be applied.
    Settlement Date
    Specify the date of the settlement.
    Settlement ID
    Specify an ID to associate with this settlement.
    Release Settlement
    Choose whether this settlement is automatically released.
  4. Click Submit.
