Removing all hierarchy

Users can remove all summary and posting values from the hierarchy.

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Global Ledger > Utilities > Remove Hierarchies.
  2. Select the dimension to remove the entire hierarchy and click OK.
    Note: When posting values are removed, all posting values are moved to the Unused Posting Dimension structure, and all summary values are moved to the Unused Summary Dimensions panel. To permanently remove these values, users must perform the Delete action in the Unused Summary Dimensions panel.
