Copying asset dimension groups

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Assets > Setup.
  2. In the Groups And Defaults panel, click Dimension Groups.
  3. Select the asset dimension groups to copy.
  4. Select Actions > Copy Dimension Group.
  5. Specify this information:
    To Company
    Specify the company where you want to copy the asset account group.
    Asset Dimension Group
    Specify the asset dimension group.
    Description
    Provide a description.
    Accounting Entity
    Optionally, specify the accounting entity.
    Note: Select the Copy Review Code check box to copy the review code from the existing dimension record.
    Accounting Unit
    Optionally, specify the accounting unit.
  6. Click Submit.
