Major categories

The major category is specified on the external grant funding source and used for reporting.

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Projects > Setup.
  2. In the Grant Setup panel, select Major Categories.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Major Category
    Specify the major category code. This code can be assigned on an external grant funding source.
    Description
    Provide a description.
  5. Click Save.
