Verifying the replication set

Caution: Global Ledger must be set up prior to GL Report Designer activation.
Use this procedure to extract data from Global Ledger. The data is sent to the columnar tables, which are used in the report designer for reporting.
  1. Select Administration Console > Replication > Search and specify GL in the replication set search filter.
  2. Open the FSM_COLUMNAR_GL_ST replication set.
  3. If the GeneralLedgerJournalControl is the only business class shown in the FSM_COLUMNAR_GL_ST replication set, see step 7. Otherwise, continue to Step 8.
Note: Verify each business class in the inactive column if the value is set to No. If the value is set to Yes, there is a conflict with a custom defined replication set that is using the same business class.
  4. On the custom replication set that is for the same business class, change the value in the Inactive field to Yes.
  5. On the delivered FSM_COLUMNAR_GL_ST replication set for the same business class, change the Inactive column to No.
  6. Verify that GeneralLedgerJournalControl is the only business class included in the FSM_COLUMNAR_GL_ST replication set.
  7. To create replication sets, select Application Administration > Financials > Global Ledger > Report Enablement. In the Columnar panel, select Create Replication Sets.

When this process is complete, the required business classes are created.

  8. Run the replicate action for the replication set FSM_COLUMNAR_GL_ST. Select the FSM_COLUMNAR_GL_ST replication set and click Replicate.
  9. Refresh the page until the yellow alert on the replication set is no longer displayed.

When the yellow alert is no longer displayed, the replication set is updated.
