Attaching posting accounts to a chart

After you create your chart hierarchy, you can attach accounts to any branches on the hierarchy.

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Global Ledger > Setup.
  2. On the Maintenance panel, click Finance Enterprise Groups.
  3. Open the finance enterprise group and click the Chart tab.
  4. Open the chart and click the Hierarchy tab.
  5. Select a summary account and click Add Posting Account.
  6. Select the accounts to add and click Add Posting To Summary.
