Creating posting categories

A posting category is an attribute that is associated with one or more accounting entities for posting purposes, so that they can be processed together.

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Global Ledger > Setup.
  2. On the Maintenance panel, click Finance Enterprise Groups.
  3. Open the finance enterprise group and click the Posting Category tab.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Specify the Posting Category name and Description.
  6. Click Save.
