Creating custom computes

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Assets > General.
  2. In the Depreciation And Valuation Methods panel, click Business Class Computes.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Custom Compute
    Assign a name to identify the compute you are creating.
    Description
    Provide a description for the custom compute.
    Effective Date
    Select a date the compute takes effect.
    Business Class
    Set to Asset Book for computes that are used for asset depreciation calculations.
  5. On the Editor tab, provide a description for the custom compute subjects.
  6. Click Save.
