Using the Report Builder

Users can quickly generate reports using predefined templates. Predefined templates are available which can reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

  1. Select Global Ledger > Analysis > Main.
  2. On the Report Designer panel, click Go To Designer.
  3. On the Reports tab, click Report Builder.
  4. Specify this information:
    Select Report
    Select a report from the predefined templates.
    Report ID
    A report ID is automatically generated from the template or you can specify a new name. This name cannot be edited after saving the report.
    Note: If the report ID is not edited, a numeric number is placed at the end of the report ID, row, and column to make it independent to existing reports when saving.
    Title
    The report title is automatically generated from the template or you can specify a new name.
    Select Department Dimension
    Specify a department dimension for the report. One dimension is required.
    Select Actual Scenario
    Specify an actual scenario for the report.
    Select Budget Scenario
    Specify a budget scenario for the report.
  5. Click Submit. The report can be edited after creation.
    Note: All Dimensions within the templates are set to a posting level. They can be edited after creation to reflect summary or hierarchical levels.
