Advanced Buyer Workspace

Overview

A Buyer is a person who purchases goods and services for an organization.

As an Advanced Buyer, you are responsible for procuring goods and services, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation. Use the Advanced Buyer workspace for your essential tasks and exceptions to manage critical information. You also have access to Employee Self Service.

In addition to the standard buyer capabilities, this workspace uses AI to reduce manual effort on repetitive tasks and to proactively surface issues in upcoming deliveries.

By default, the workspace shows the transactions that are assigned to you as the logged-in buyer. When your organization configures Inventory Regions in application, the workspace can also present data based on the Inventory Region that is linked to your ship-to locations. This region-driven visibility lets buyers within the same Inventory Region share workload, review and act on each other's transactions, and maintain regional coverage when a buyer is unavailable.

Data filtering

If an Inventory Region is selected, all widgets filter their data based on the selected Inventory Region or the ship-to locations linked to that region.
