Using the Upcoming Orders widget

The Upcoming Orders widget displays purchase orders scheduled for delivery within the next seven days, excluding today.

This widget also highlights anomalies where the delivery date is earlier than the PO ship date, enabling buyers to quickly identify potential issues.

If an Inventory Region is selected, the widget shows the upcoming orders for the selected Inventory Region. If no Inventory Region is selected, the widget shows the upcoming orders for the logged-in buyer.

In addition, the widget uses AI to identify exceptions. An exception is an order attribute that behave differently from historical patterns for the same Company, Ship-To Location, and Item combination.

Exceptions are highlighted in red within the grid. When you hover over a highlighted value, the system displays the AI-suggested expected value that is based on historical data.

The widget identifies exceptions for these order attributes:

Delivery date: Flagged when the delivery timing deviates significantly from the learned pattern for the selected vendor and item.
Unit cost: Flagged when the price differs significantly from the historical range typical for the selected item and vendor.
Quantity: Flagged when the ordered quantity is unusually high or low compared to past orders for the same combination.
Unit of measure (UOM): Flagged when the UOM does not match the UOM typically used for the selected item.

Buyers can perform these actions:

Review the affected purchase order lines directly from the widget.
Hover over highlighted anomalies to view AI-recommended values.
Export the data displayed in the grid to Excel to follow up with the respective vendors.
Drill down to the corresponding records in FSM.

Note: Run the replication set FSM_PO_ST daily to ensure the widget uses up-to-date data.
