Project invoicing process

  1. Select Invoicing And Revenue > Invoicing > Processes > Generate Invoices.
  2. Preview “created” invoice and invoice lines.
  3. Make changes to the invoice using these actions: Edit Invoice Line, Remove Transaction, Create Advance Billing, and Revert Invoice Line.
  4. Regenerate Printable Invoice.
  5. Preview and validate edited invoice.
  6. If using invoice approval feature, submit invoice for approval. Invoice must be “approved” in order to journalize.
  7. Run Journalize Invoices action.
  8. View resulting journal control and journal transactions.
  9. View invoiced transaction history, including audit log and adjustment history.

  10. Optionally, if using Invoice Summarization and you want to update the invoice summary lines LTD invoice amount, run the Create Invoice Summary action.
  11. Optionally, if using Invoice Summarization, an invoice template that includes invoice LTD amounts in the lines, and you want to update the invoice summary lines LTD invoice amounts, run Regenerate Printable Invoice action.
