Deleting async requests and triggers for all other failed jobs

  1. On Template > Run Jobs, select the terminated job.
  2. Select Drill Around > Async Action Trigger.
  3. From the action trigger, select Drill Around > View Request to open the Action Request Schedule.
  4. On the form menu, select Drill Around > View Action Group Members to display the individual async requests.
  5. Filter requests with the status of Yes in Pending Scheduling.
    Identify requests related to the failed job by comparing the Created Date with the Template Run Job Start Date. The dates should match and times should be close.
  6. Delete the identified pending requests.
  7. If there are no requests with the status of Yes in Pending Scheduling, navigate to Async > All Requests and filter the requests using this criteria:
    • The Created Date matches the Template Run Job Start Date. The dates should match, and the times should be close.
    • Pending Scheduling with the status of Yes.
    • Actor matches the actor associated with the failed job.
  8. Delete any requests that match these criteria.
  9. Return to the template and select the terminated job.
  10. Select Drill Around > Async Action Trigger.
  11. Click Delete to remove the trigger.
  12. Select Budget Template > Run Jobs.
    Review the remaining jobs and repeat the deletion process as necessary.

    If a cube refresh job has failed or terminated, proceed to Deleting async requests and triggers for the failed cube refresh.

    When no failed or terminated jobs remain, proceed to Recovering the template.
