Replacing the Async Action Request Actor for Budget Edit Batches
All Budget Edit batch jobs run under the account assigned as the . During processing, the batch uses that user's security permissions and access rights.
If a different user should own and execute the batch jobs, use the action to assign a new actor.
Note: You cannot run this action if you are already the current Async Action Request Actor. In that case, the system displays a message indicating that the current user is the same as the Async Action Request Actor.
To replace the Async Action Request Actor:
- Navigate to .
- Verify there are no budget Edit triggers that are queued or currently in progress.
- Re-queue failed triggers and delete completed ones.
- Confirm that no triggers remain in a queued or in-progress state.
- Select .
- On the Configuration And Utilities panel, select Budget Edit Configuration.
- Open the Budget Edit Configuration record for your finance enterprise group.
- Select .
- Click to confirm the change.
- Verify that the Async Action Request Actor has been updated to the user who executed the action.
- Verify that the Async Action Request Actor field in the BudgetEditConfiguration record reflects the new actor assignment.
