IDM printer menu

IDM printer menus are located under different FSM roles. On the IDM printer menu there are actions that a specific role can perform.

These are the available actions:

• Create – Add an email-enabled printer to be available for the users. This action is not available for IDM Enterprise Print.
• Delete – This action removes an existing IDM printer in FSM.
• Update – Update the active check box. For email-enabled printer, you can update the email and description fields.
• Set As Default Printer – Select an IDM printer and set it as the default printer. This action is hidden when the selected printer is classified as Payment Printer.
• Set As Payment Printer – Classify an IDM Enterprise Printer as Payment Printer, restricting it to Payment Check and Remittance Advice printer setup only.
• Remove as Payment Printer – Reclassify a Payment Printer back to a Non-Payment Printer, making it available for all business classes with printer setup.
• Sync IDM Printers – This action pulls all printers of the enabled print service in IDM to FSM. All non-existing printers in IDM automatically becomes inactive. Newly synced printers are classified as Non-Payment Printers by default.
• Print Test Page – This action checks the connection of FSM to IDM and prints a sample page for validation. The sample page contains the properties of the printer such as the name, printer ID, description, actor and date and time printed.
