Store Last Asset option

The Store Last Asset option controls whether the system stores and updates the Last Asset and Last Company Asset values on the asset company record.

When the user selects Yes, the system updates the Last Asset and Last Company Asset values in the asset company each time an asset is created. This is the default behavior. When the user selects No, the system bypasses these company-level updates during asset creation improving performance.

Note: When creating multiple assets using batch processes, select No for improved performance. This setting prevents updates to the company Last Asset field during asset creation.
