Automation of task status
When a subsystem period is successfully closed, the system automatically updates and completes the associated Close task.
During the subsystem close process, the system updates Company System Control information, including:
- Closed Year
- Closed Period
- Period Name
When the same close task is associated with multiple supported system controls within a single accounting entity, the close period task is not completed until all associated system controls for that entity and period are closed.
Note: Completing a Close task does not remove the association from the Entity System Control.
