Automation of task status

When a Close Task is linked to Global Ledger, task status updates occur automatically based on Global Ledger close activity:


Global Ledger activity	Close Period Task Status
Subsystem closing control is closed	Task moves to In Process
Entity Period is closed (Limited Close)	Task is automatically Completed
Entity Period is moved to Open for Backpost	Task is automatically Reopened
No subsystem is configured in Entity System Control	Task remains in Scheduled status

Note: A Close Period Task moves to In Process only when at least one subsystem configured in Entity System Control is closed. When no subsystem is configured, the task remains Scheduled and does not move to In Process. Instead, it is automatically marked Completed when the Entity Period is successfully closed.
