Service Line Director dashboards and reports

The Service Line Director dashboard collection provides Service Line Directors with visibility into spending and expense-related activities across service lines. The collection includes dashboards for analyzing transactional spend, monitoring expenses, reviewing vendor activity, and identifying spending trends.
The collection consists of these dashboards:
  • Service Line Spend Dashboard
  • Service Line Expenses Dashboard

To access the Service Line Director dashboards:

From the dashboard home page, select the folder icon or select Browse Collections & Dashboards > Service Line Director.

Service Line Spend Dashboard

The Service Line Spend dashboard provides detailed transactional spending information across service lines and organizational structures. Users can analyze spend activity by service line, business unit, account, item, vendor, and system code to identify spending patterns, evaluate vendor utilization, and monitor operational costs.

The dashboard includes these filters:
  • Fiscal Year
  • Fiscal Month
  • Item
  • Service Line Structure (nested filter that includes Level 1 and Level 2)
  • System Code
  • Vendor

Service Line Expenses Dashboard

The Service Line Expenses dashboard provides a high-level view of expenses across service lines and organizational structures. The dashboard supports financial monitoring, trend analysis, budget oversight, and departmental expense review. It includes key performance indicators, service line comparison reporting, and detailed departmental expense information.

The dashboard includes these KPI cards:

KPI card Description
Current Month Expenses Displays the total expenses incurred during the selected fiscal month.
Total Expenses Displays the cumulative expenses for the selected reporting period and filter criteria.
Last Year (LY) Current Month Expenses Displays the expenses for the corresponding fiscal month in the previous fiscal year.
Last Year (LY) Total Expenses Displays the total expenses for the corresponding reporting period in the previous fiscal year.
The dashboard includes these reports:
  • Expenses by Service Line

    This report displays the expenses grouped by service line, enabling users to compare spending across service lines and identify areas with significant expense activity.

  • Department Leader Report

    This report provides a detailed view of expenses by department leadership structure. Use this report to review departmental spending and support financial accountability and expense analysis at the leadership level.
