Creating external warehouse participants

Use this procedure to define a location as a third party warehouse location.
  1. Select Supply Management > Supply Management Setup > Warehouse > External Warehouse Participant.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Item Group
    Select the identifier for a group of items that can be shared by one or more companies.
    Company
    Select a company number.
    Location
    Select a stocking location within the company.
    Note: External Warehouse Participant turns on the interface. After it is set up for the location, the interface tables are populated when the standard processes are run.
  4. Click Save.
