Copying actor context records

Use this procedure to copy all actor context records for security groups and business group security from one actor to another actor. This is helpful to set up a new user with the same security as an existing user. You can also overwrite existing actor context records.

Sign in to one of these roles:
- ApplicationAdministrator_ST
- FinancialsAdministrator_ST
- GLController_ST
- FinancialBusinessAnalyst_ST
- ProjectManager_ST
Select Global Ledger > Setup > Global Ledger Security Setup > Copy Actor Context.
Specify this information:

Copy From Actor

Select the actor record that contains actor context records that should be copied to another actor.

Copy To Actor

Select the actor record to copy the Copy From Actor context records to.

Overwrite Existing

Select this check box to overwrite the existing actor context records. If this check box is cleared, then the new records are added but the existing records remain and are not overwritten.
Click OK.
