Creating tax identification types

  1. Select Financials > Payables > Tax Setup > Tax Identification Types.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Tax Identification Type
    Specify a name for the tax identification type.
    Description
    Provide a description of the tax identification type.
    Country
    Select the country of the tax identification type.
    Regular Expression
    Specify the editing format for the tax identification type.
    Format Example
    Specify the format example for the tax identification type.
    Tax Certification Label
    Specify a tax certification label.
    Tax Certification Required
    Select this check box to require tax certification.
    Type
    Select the tax identification type.
  4. Click Save.
