Creating file channels

1. Select Process Server Administrator.
2. Select Administration.
3. Select Channels Administrator.
4. Click File Channels tab.
5. Click Create.
6. Specify this information:

   Channel Name

   Specify a name for the file channel.

   Description

   Provide a description.

   File Channel Type

   Select Remote for the file channel type.

   Source File Directory

   Specify the receiver directory from which to retrieve the import file.

   File Match Case Sensitivity

   Select whether to Ignore Case or Enforce Case.

   Error File Directory

   Specify the directory where the bank import file will be moved if there is an error.

   In-Progress File Directory

   Specify the directory where the bank import file will be moved if processed successfully.

   File Scan Interval Time In Minutes

   Specify the scan interval time in minutes. This process signifies when to scan for new files to interface from the source file directory into bank statement interface.

   Last File Scan Time

   This field is for display only and shows the last date and time that the specified Source File Directory was scanned.

   Host

   Specify the host name of the remote machine.

   Protocol

   Select SFTP.

   Authentication Type

   Specify User And Password.

   User

   Specify an ID to access the host, if one is required.

   Sftp Password

   Specify the password to access the host, if one is required.

   Time Out (In Seconds)

   Specify the maximum amount of time, that a system or application will wait for a particular operation to complete before it is terminated, or an error is raised.

   Notify By Email

   Specify when to notify user.

7. Click Save.
