Adding UNSPSC codes

Use this procedure to add new UNSPSC codes or to edit the existing codes. For more information about UNSPSC codes, see the Requisitions User Guide
  1. Select Supply Management > Supply Management Setup > Shared Setup > UNSPSC Codes.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Item Group
    Select an Item Group.
    UNSPSC Code
    Specify a UNSPSC Code.
    Long Description
    Specify the long description of the code.
    Short Description
    This is the description that shows on the various pages where UNSPSC codes are used.
  4. Click Save.
