Searching reports in the report catalog
You can use search parameters to look for a report. If left blank, all the reports are displayed.
Basic search
This table shows the parameters to perform basic search:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Specify a text to find report names that contain the specified word. |
| Category and Subcategory | Select the category and subcategory to search for specific report types. You can select one or more categories and subcategories. |
| My Reports | Enable the option to view the reports that you created. |
| Favorites | Enable the option to view the reports that you marked as favorites. |
Advanced search
The results are narrowed down using additional search parameters. These are applied on top of the basic search. Move the toolbar in the search panel to find the advanced search option.
This table shows the parameters to perform advanced search:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Business class | Search for reports by entering full or partial keywords found within a business class. |
| Sharing | Indicates who receives the shared report. Report availability depends on the settings applied during enablement and at the time of report creation, for example, private or public. |
| Owner | Search for reports that are owned by a specific user. Specify a username in this field. |
| Organization Reports | Enable the option to view only the reports in your organization. |
If a report is not displayed in the Report Catalog, verify that you have access to the report.
