Removing or transferring multiple transactions from an invoice

Use this procedure to remove one or more transactions from an invoice. Additional parameters are available if Transfer is selected. All transaction are moved in full to the new finance code block.

  1. Select Project Contracts.
  2. On the Contracts tab, open a contract.
  3. On the Invoices tab, select a contract invoice record.
  4. Select the associated invoice lines and select Remove Multiple Transactions.
  5. Select the Place On Hold check box to remove the transactions and place them on hold.
  6. Select the Transfer check box to remove the transaction and transfer the full expense amount or a portion of the transaction and units.
  7. Specify this information:
    To Finance Structure
    Specify the new finance structure for the transfer. All dimensions or individual dimensions of the finance structure can be specified. When only individual dimensions are specified, the default values for the remaining dimensions are from the originating transactions.
    To Posting Date
    Specify the posting date for the transfer. The default value is the posting date from the original transactions.
  8. Click Submit.
