Scenarios

Scenarios are identifiers for types of transaction amounts. System-defined scenarios are actuals, encumbrances, and commitments. These scenarios are included in the total obligation scenario. Budget scenarios can be defined to support different budgets.

Scenario	Description
Actuals	System-defined scenario for actual amounts.
Encumbrances	System-defined scenario for encumbrances if track or track and edit encumbrance options are enabled for system codes.
Commitments	System-defined scenario for commitments if track or track and edit encumbrance options are enabled for system codes.
Total Obligation	Summary of the actuals, encumbrances, and commitments scenarios.
Budget	User-defined scenario for budget amounts. At least one budget scenario is required if track and edit encumbrance options are enabled for system codes.
