Running selective initialize for a budget group manually

When a budget group is successfully initialized, the Selective Initialize field on the budget group is set to Yes. If the Selective Initialize field is set to No, it may indicate that the budget group was not initialized, which will prevent transactions from being released. See Initialize budget groups for selective templates.

Use this action to manually initialize a budget group or to reinitialize it when the local and cube obligations are incorrect.

Refresh the GeneralLedgerTotal cube to ensure it has the updated data.
Select Budgeting > Budget Scenarios.
Select the Edit Templates tab and open a budget template.
Select the Groups tab.
Select the budget group to rebuild.
Select Actions > Selective Initialize.
The Selective Initialize field is set to Yes when the budget group initialization is finished.
