Non-automatic zero recurring journal entry process

  1. Create the recurring journal entry. The Automatic Zero field must be blank.

    The journal entry process status is Ready and the journal status is Unreleased.

  2. Release the recurring journal entry.

    The recurring journal entry process status is Ready and the journal status is Released.

  3. Journalize the recurring journal entry.

    The recurring journal entry is interfaced to Global Ledger with the system code RJ. The description on the GL control and GL transaction lines are from the values on the recurring journal control and the recurring journal transaction lines.

    The recurring journal entry is available for posting on the Released tab on the Journals page. The recurring journal entry process status is Processed and the journal status is Released.

  4. Post the period's journal entry to Global Ledger.

  5. At period end, close the period.

    When the core ledger is closed, the recurring journal entry is updated to Ready and the journal status is Released.
