Interaction between Lease Accounting and Payables

After running the Interface Lease Payment Invoices to Payables and importing the lease invoice payments to Payables, there are no interdependency between the Payables processes and the Lease Accounting processes. The processes for each solution can be run simultaneously.

• Payables assumes responsibility for these tasks:
  • Transferring payment amounts to Global Ledger
  • Processing payments

  • Tracking payment schedules
  • Tracking lease obligations
  • Calculating the interest for finance leases
  • Transferring the interest amounts to the interest account
  • Adjusting the debt account by the interest amount
