Receiving inventory

You can also process inventory transactions when you receive inventory.

Generally, you can use Inventory Control to receive items that are not received using Purchasing.

When you create a receipt for an item, the stock-on-hand quantity for that item increases. Miscellaneous receipts and in-transit receipts are used in Inventory Control.
