Inventory recommendation process
This table shows a high-level overview of the inventory recommendations process:

| Run replication sets | Relevant inventory data is copied and updated automatically when running the replication. |
Automatically runs on a schedule set by the Supply Management administrator. Run this process one hour before running the daily data or recommendations. See the Supply Management Setup and Administration. |
| Run daily data | KPIs and chart data are automatically updated. |
Automatically runs on a schedule that is set by the Supply Management administrator, usually every night. See the Supply Management Setup and Administration. |
| Run recommendations | New recommended inventory values are computed. Each time you run
this process, old recommendations and manual overrides are replaced with new
recommendations. This process can be configured for perpetual locations, par
locations, or all locations. This process also includes the Daily Data process. |
Run this process manually or schedule it to run automatically. The schedule is set by the Supply Management administrator. See the Supply Management Setup and Administration. For optimal performance, we recommend that you run the process at least once per month. Running it more frequently does not result to significant changes in the recommendations. |
