Importing IDM configuration files

The IDM configuration files in idm-configuration.xml are imported automatically every CU release. Use this procedure to check whether the import is successful. You can also manually import the failed configuration files. You must have an IDM administrator role to perform this procedure.

  1. Select Application Administration > Shared and click the Document Management tab.
  2. On the IDM pane, click IDM Configuration.
  3. Open a record.
  4. To check whether the configuration file is imported, select the XML Files tab.
  5. To manually import the configuration files that were not automatically imported, perform these steps:
    1. Click Import to IDM.
    2. Click Submit. The status must be Imported.
