Creating asset allocations

  1. Select Financials > Asset Accounting > Asset System Setup > Asset Types.
  2. Select an asset type record.
  3. On the Allocations tab, click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    From Date
    After you create changes to a current allocation, a new allocation is automatically created with the current system date as the start date.
    To Date
    After you create changes to a current allocation, the current system date becomes the end date of the last allocation. The current date becomes the begin date of the new allocation.
  5. Click Save.
