Creating queue mappings
Use this procedure to map queues to specific actors, data areas, classes, and actions to define when the queues are run.
- Sign in as Async Administrator.
 - On the All Queues tab, open a queue.
 - In the Mapping & Triggers section, click the Queue Mappings tab.
 - Click Create.
 - Specify this information:
           
- Actor
 - Select an actor to use to determine whether a background execution task is assigned to this queue. If this field is blank, then any actor is included.
 - Data Area
 - Select the solution data area.
 - Class
 - Select a class for the queue mapping.
 - Action
 - Select an action that triggers the queue.
 - Mapping Field 1
 - To map an additional field to the queue, specify the field.
 - Mapping Field 2
 - To map an additional field to the queue, specify the field.
 - Save History
 - 
              Select whether to save the queue history. This list shows the valid values:
              
- Queue Default. History is saved by setting for the queue.
 - Yes. This can result in a large number of accumulated trigger history records.
 - No
 
 - Priority
 - Select the priority for processing that is performed by the queue using this queue mapping. If you select None, then the action is not run. Normal is the default value.
 - Log Producer Name
 - Specify the log producer to use for problems or exceptions from triggers that match this queue mapping. If this field is blank, then the standard Async Logger is used.
 
 - Click Save.
