Delivery Date and Shipment Date Qualifiers
A vendor can include a delivery date or shipment date at the line level in an ASC X12 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgment. These dates inform buyers about product availability and are mapped to corresponding fields in the Purchase Order EDI Acknowledgment based on their qualifier. The dates can then be used to update fields on the Purchase Order Line.
Two EDI Data Substitution records allow you to restrict or specify different qualifiers, enabling customers to control which dates may be used to update the Purchase Order Line date fields.
- Configuration
- Optional
- Default behavior: Default qualifiers are used to map the date to corresponding field.
