Overview

Infor OS Portal users can view significant information that is related to the system for which the context widget is programmed.

Context widgets provide useful information that is specific to a business class. The widgets are located on the right side of the user interface.

This table shows the business classes that are enabled in Infor OS Portal:


Context widget	Description
Infor Business Context	Sends messages for specific business events. Multiple web parts can consume a single message. For example, a single business context message for a purchase order can be consumed by the Content Assistant and Business Intelligence web parts and Infor SocialSpace.
Related Information (IDM)	Configured to track contextual changes in any Infor OS Portal-enabled product that publishes contextual changes when a selection is made. The IDM context widget displays related documents based on the business message context sent from the publishing product. Available on Infor OS Portal.
Infor Smart Help	A context sensitive help system that can connect to various content repositories, including Infor product documentation, knowledge base articles, training materials, and customer documents. Available on Infor OS Portal.
