Setting up contract location functionality for contract groups
Contract locations must be created to provide location data for contract special items on Consolidated Item Level Master Data. Use this procedure to enable creation of Consolidated Item Level Master Data and location records.
- Select Contracts > Processing And Reporting.
- On the Consolidated Item Level Master Data and Clinical Information pane, click Contract Group Setup.
- Open a contract group record.
- Select the Store Contract Lines And Locations In Consolidated Item Level Master Data check box.
- Select the Allow Contracts To Pass Location Data To Clinical Use Systems check box.

Optionally, specify this information:
- Do Not Use Requesting Locations When Creating Locations From Participants Or Members Or Participant Groups
- Select this check box to use inventory locations only when creating contract locations.
- Set Default Contract Locations From Participant Group To Line Level
- Select this check box to have contract locations created at line level instead of contract level.
- Default Participant Group For Contract Locations
- Select a participant group for the contract group to create contract locations. A record is created, showing that the participant group is associated to the contract. This record is available on the Participant Groups tab of the Clinical Contract Maintenance page.
- Auto Add New Participant Group Lines To Contracts
- Select this check box to automatically create contract locations on contracts where the For Clinical Use Systems check box is selected.
- Auto Add New Locations For Company And Pricing Group Participants And Members
- If this check box is selected, contract locations are created for new inventory or requesting locations for all contracts for clinical use that have company or pricing group level participants, tier members, or pricing members.
- Do Not Default New Lines On Clinical Contracts To Clinical System Use
- If the For Clinical Use Systems check box is selected in the contract, then Clinical System Use is automatically enabled for all special type lines that are added. Select this check box to override the default enabling of Clinical System Use for new lines.
- Click Save.
