Attribute updates and line changes

You can update attributes for contract lines and items. Enable attribute updates for a contract group during contract group setup. You can update attributes from Symmetric Health Solutions, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) Data Connect, or another source. You can also use Consolidated Item Level Master Data for attribute updates.

You can select attributes for assessment using Consolidated Item Level Master Data. If attribute changes are created that already exist, they are immediately be purged so that there are no duplicates.

Attribute updates for item records, particularly vendor item and manufacturer information, are processed immediately when Update Attributes is run.

This table shows the attribute update tabs and their descriptions:

Tab Description
To Process For Contract Lines Shows attributes to update for contract lines. All error details are displayed on this tab.
Processed For Contract Lines Shows the updated attributes and the records for which Set To Not Processed is selected.
Suggested Line Changes Only special items create records on this tab. You can accept a suggestion or keep the existing information.
Processed Line Changes Shows line changes that are resolved from the Suggested Line Changes tab.
