Interfacing asset and project capitalization individually

  1. Select Assets > Interfaces > Capitalization > Project Interface Control.
  2. Open the project interface control record and click the Draft Interface Records tab.
  3. Select Actions > Project Asset Interface.
    Note: When the Post WIP To Project option is selected, the project dimension is included in the resulting WIP transaction. If this is not selected, the project dimension will not be included on that transaction and the project activity will not reflect this transaction.
  4. Click Submit.

    The Project Interface Control record is updated and the asset that is created when the asset interface record is released and is displayed when the Project Capitalization Interface is run.

    The records in the Draft Interface Records tab are moved to the Asset Interface Records tab.

  5. To create asset interface records for selected draft interface records, follow these steps:
    1. Select Conversion And Interfaces > Project Asset Interface Control.
    2. Open the project interface control record and click the Draft Interface Records tab.
    3. Select a draft asset interface records and click the Project Asset Interface button.
      Note: A user can also specify the Purchase Date to override the date in the selected Asset Interface Records.
