Cash dashboards and reports

Cash Position

This dashboard defaults to the current month and displays the cash position trend (ending balance) and category detail either from a forecast (active, non-simulated) perspective or an actual (historical) perspective. The two charts can also be viewed by three summary levels: Enterprise (uses the cash management group currency), Location (uses the cash management location currency), or Account (uses the cash management account currency). The Enterprise, Location, Financial Institution, and Account filters are in context of the filter above.

  • Cash Position Trend – If the forecast view is selected, this chart will display the active, non-simulated forecasted ending balance which is calculated by taking the ending balance from the last previous day bank statement and then adding the net change from the cash forecast records. If the actual view is selected, this chart will display the ending balance coming previous day bank statements.
  • Category Detail – If the forecast view is selected, this chart summarizes the forecast amount by category coming from active, non-simulated cash forecast records. If the actual view is selected, this chart summarizes the line amount by category coming from bank statement line records. The first column of the chart will either display the enterprise group, location value, or account value along with the currency code. The next three columns display the category hierarchy starting with the top level, the second level and then the lowest category level. Additional category hierarchy levels can be added (or levels can be removed) by customizing the chart in visualizer.
