Preparing for data load

Preparing for data load ensures that any updates to the replication sets are registered to the Data Catalog and that data can flow to Data Lake without errors.

Starting with the 2023.10 feature release, the new Update ION Schemas IPA workflow is available in the FSM application to perform these steps:
  1. Register all schemas in the replication sets.
  2. Update documents in the connection point if there are replication sets with Data Destination set to IMS.
  3. Recreate the Data Lake flow if there are replication sets with Data Destination set to IMS.
  4. Clear the compass tables cache.
